Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using USPrivacyAtlas (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Not legal advice

The Service is an educational tool that provides general information about US state privacy and data-security statutes based on publicly available, well-known statutory thresholds. It is not legal advice, does not create an attorney-client relationship, and is not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney familiar with your specific facts. The Service, including its design, text, underlying dataset, and code, is our property or that of our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our name, branding, or trademarks.

Changes to the Service or these Terms

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the Service operator is based, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
